Yan Diomande Transfer Race Shifts Again As PSG Try To Answer Liverpool

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a renewed push for RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande as the race around the 19-year-old threatens to move quickly.

The latest update claims PSG could try to answer Liverpool’s position in the chase for Diomande, with the French champions still monitoring one of Europe’s most coveted young attackers. The report, carried by ParisFans, says BILD has put PSG back in the frame after earlier suggestions that Liverpool had moved ahead.

Diomande is under contract at RB Leipzig until 2030, which gives the Bundesliga club a strong negotiating hand and makes any move expensive. For PSG, the attraction is obvious: a teenage forward with elite upside, positional flexibility and enough profile to fit the club’s push to keep refreshing Luis Enrique’s attacking options.

Why Diomande matters to PSG

This is not a completed deal and should be treated as a live transfer race rather than a confirmed move. But the timing matters because PSG have already been linked with several attacking targets this summer, while Liverpool’s reported interest raises the pressure on any Paris move.

If PSG are serious, the next stage is whether they turn background interest into a firm proposal. Until then, the Diomande story is a useful marker of the market they are shopping in: young, high-ceiling forwards who would demand major fees before they are fully proven at the very top level.
