Paris Saint-Germain have made an exploratory move for Juventus midfielder Khéphren Thuram as Luis Enrique’s European champions assess another French-market route into their midfield rebuild.
According to Get French Football News, citing La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG have lodged an enquiry for the 25-year-old, although the interest has not yet advanced into concrete negotiations. The Italian report frames Thuram as a name raised around the same wider channel of dialogue that has also involved Randal Kolo Muani’s Juventus situation.
Luis Enrique Gets Fresh Midfield Option
Thuram has been a significant Juventus player since arriving from OGC Nice in 2024. GFFN reports that he made 45 appearances last season, returning four goals and five assists, but still missed out on Didier Deschamps’ France World Cup squad.
That profile explains the PSG logic. Thuram offers height, ball-carrying power and Ligue 1 familiarity, while remaining young enough to fit the recruitment model sharpened under Luis Campos and Enrique.
The key caveat is timing. PSG’s enquiry does not yet mean a bid, and the same report stresses that any Thuram pursuit would be separate from the Kolo Muani file. For now, this is a live market probe rather than a committed assault, but it places another high-level French midfielder on the Paris shortlist.
