Bradley Barcola’s Paris Saint-Germain future has moved back into focus as Liverpool monitor the winger and PSG push ahead with another aggressive attacking reset.
According to Get French Football News, RMC Sport understands Barcola’s situation in Paris is now uncertain, with Liverpool interested while PSG chase RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande and Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche. The same report adds that talks over a Barcola contract extension have made little progress for several months.
Barcola Contract Standoff Hands PSG A Decision
Fabrizio Romano has also reported that Barcola remains high on Liverpool’s list and that his future could change if PSG land both Diomande and Akliouche. That is the key point for Luis Enrique: this is not simply a sales question, it is a squad-balance problem.
Barcola still gives PSG vertical running, penalty-box threat and proven Ligue 1 output, but Paris are clearly trying to keep their attack younger, deeper and less predictable. If the club add two more high-level wide forwards, minutes become harder to protect.
ReadPSG has already covered the earlier Barcola transfer-control test. This update sharpens it: PSG may soon have to decide whether a major Liverpool proposal is worth accepting, or whether Barcola remains too valuable to release while the project is still accelerating.
