PSG Goal Chart Surge Gives Luis Enrique World Cup Proof

Paris Saint-Germain have been handed another sharp reminder of the squad value Luis Enrique is carrying through the 2026 World Cup.

Sky Sports’ latest club-by-club scoring table places PSG on 10 goals at the tournament, one behind Real Madrid. Ousmane Dembele leads the Paris group with four, while Bradley Barcola, Desire Doue, Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Joao Neves and Ibrahim Mbaye have all scored for their countries.

Dembele Leads PSG’s Global Scoring Push

The timing matters. PSG’s forward line has been framed all summer through transfer control, Barcola contract pressure and the search for the next attacking piece, but the World Cup numbers show the existing core is already travelling well under tournament stress.

Barcola’s goal against Sweden has strengthened his case, while PSG’s own international update confirmed Hakimi captained Morocco through a penalty shootout win over the Netherlands. Those are not empty cameos. They are high-pressure actions from players Paris will need fresh, confident and protected when club football returns.

It also gives Enrique a useful counterpoint to the transfer noise. Paris can still chase market upgrades, but the club’s World Cup footprint now shows an attack and full-back spine producing beyond Ligue 1 conditions.

Luis Enrique’s challenge is obvious: turn a global scoring surge into a rested, coherent PSG attack rather than a post-World Cup workload problem.
