Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique is confident in his side’s chances of retaining the Ligue 1 title despite a narrow lead over RC Lens in the standings.
The French capital outfit saw their lead shrink to one point after Sunday’s 2-0 home loss to Olympique Lyon. It however moved four points clear after Wednesday’s commanding 3-0 win over Nantes.
PSG’s lead could however be back to one point if Lens beat Brest away from home on Friday while they face Angers on the road on Saturday
“A four-point lead feels good. In the next round of matches, Lens will play on Friday and we will see what their result is,” Enrique said after the game against Nantes.
“It will be tight, as it has been throughout the competition. Lens have shown a high level all season. We are confident, but the hardest part remains: the final matches of the season.”
PSG will face Lens in what could be a title-deciding match on May 13, four days before the season finale.
