Ousmane Dembele wants Paris Saint-Germain to go all out and attack Bayern Munich in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.
The Frenchman was in top form as he scored a brace and provided an assist for Joao Neves as the Parisians triumphed 5-4.
The scoreline set a new record for goals in a Champions League semi-final, and while questions were asked of PSG’s inability to maintain a 5-2 lead, Dembele does not want his team to relent in pressing for more goals in the return leg next week.
“It was two teams that seek to attack and don’t question themselves. We know Bayern are a top team, and us too. We’re happy with the result, despite being 5-2 up,” the current Ballon d’Or holder said.
“We’re two sides that want to attack. We won’t change our philosophy [in the second leg]. We want to attack and so do they, so I think a great game is in the offing.”
Dembele is PSG’s King of the knockout phase
The 28-year-old Frenchman has now scored 18 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions this term.
This is in contrast to the 2024-25 campaign where he had a hand in 35 goals and 16 assists in 53 competitive games as PSG won a historic treble, which landed him the Ballon d’Or.

He has now scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in the Champions League knockout phase across three seasons for PSG, making him the player involved in most goals for the club in that round of the competition.
