PSG Close In On €100m-A-Year Nike Deal Until 2037

Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on a new Nike contract that will nearly double the club’s annual kit revenue, extending the partnership six years early through to 2037.

According to a fresh report from L’Équipe, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi asked the club’s commercial department to reopen talks with Nike after Paris’s first Champions League triumph in 2025, and last season’s successful defence of the trophy has since strengthened the club’s hand at the negotiating table. The current agreement, which is not due to expire until 2032, is reported to be worth around €60m a season.

Under the terms being discussed, L’Équipe says PSG’s annual payout would rise to close to €100m a year, taking the five-year extension’s total value beyond €1bn and putting Paris within touching distance of Barcelona, whose Nike deal remains the sport’s richest at around €120m a season. It is the latest sign of how central shirt sponsorship has become to PSG’s wider commercial strategy under Al-Khelaïfi.

The renegotiation would also preserve PSG’s exclusive football use of Nike’s Jordan sub-brand, a marketing tie-up the club has leaned on heavily since 2018 to grow its profile in North America and Asia. The leverage stems directly from the club’s historic European success, which Al-Khelaïfi has repeatedly pointed to when discussing PSG’s commercial ambitions.

Neither PSG nor Nike has commented publicly, and L’Équipe’s report stresses terms are still being finalised. But with six years still to run on the existing deal, the scale of the move underlines how far Paris’s commercial standing has shifted since the Qatari-backed project won its first continental crown.
