Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Beraldo has refused to accept his team are Ligue 1 champions just yet.
PSG recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Brest at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, leaving them just one point away from securing a 14th league title.
They will have that opportunity in a rescheduled match against title rivals RC Lens on Wednesday, which Beraldo wants to focus on.
“We’re not champions yet, there are still two matches to play and win to become champions,” the Brazilian said.
“We’re preparing for these two matches. Lens will be a difficult match, but we’re going to prepare.”
Enrique pays tribute to Lens
Meanwhile, head coach Luis Enrique, despite stating his team were 99.9% champions, gave credit to Lens for the fight they have put in this season.
“It’s a unique league. It feels like we’ve won the league, but not yet. We won a very important match, but we have to go to Lens to win with the same ambition,” the Spaniard said.
“Lens have had a great season, and they deserve credit. But when you wear the PSG shirt, you have to deliver top performances.”
PSG will wrap their Ligue 1 campaign against French capital city rivals Paris FC at Stade Jean-Bouin on Sunday.
