Le Havre winger Sofiane Boufal believes the current Paris Saint-Germain squad under Luis Enrique is at par with the squad under previous boss Laurent Blanc.
Enrique is considered the best manager in the world at the moment after leading PSG to an historic treble and first UEFA Champions League title last season.
He is on course to repeat another treble which will arguably put him above any other PSG manager. Boufal however sees Blanc on the same level with the Spaniard.
The Frenchman was in charge of the Parisians between 2013 and 2016, winning 11 titles, including Ligue 1 three times.
“I was lucky enough to play against Laurent Blanc’s PSG back then. And for me, it’s on par with Luis Enrique’s,” Boufal told Foot Mercato.
“The current PSG just has more success in the Champions League. But Laurent Blanc’s team was incredible. I remember a match back then where we were losing 4-0 after 20 minutes.
“There were stars like Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] and [Edinson] Cavani. But it was a great team with [Marco] Verratti, [Thiago] Motta, and [Blaise] Matuidi. Everyone knew what they had to do.
“In fact, star or not, it’s mainly about how you adapt to the team. The current PSG has some exceptional players, but they put the team first.”

The Moroccan returned to the French top flight in January from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise, and has made 15 appearances, scoring once and providing three assists.
He previously played for Angers and Lillie, and has also featured for Southampton and Celta Vigo.
