Having qualified for their second consecutive Champions League final and on the verge of lifting their 14th French league title, Paris Saint-Germain have the wind in their sails. Yet this has not prevented the club’s management from starting to plan for the future, notably by working on several transfer-related matters.
In addition to the question of signing potential reinforcements in the coming weeks, the issue of extending the contracts of several of their players has emerged as a priority matter. Whilst some negotiations appear to be moving in the right direction, others seem more complicated. Such is the case with those concerning Bradley Barcola’s future.
Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in Barcola
Under contract with PSG until 2028, the French international (18 caps, three goals) is attracting interest from a number of clubs. According to Sky Sports, FC Barcelona, Liverpool and, in particular, Arsenal have reportedly made the 23-year-old one of their targets for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Although no concrete offers have yet reached the Parisian decision-makers’ desks, discussions with the representatives of Barcola are said to have been initiated by his various suitors.
A key member of Luis Enrique’s squad, the Lyon-born player has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 45 appearances (32 starts) across all competitions this season.
