Luis Enrique turned to PSG’s youth team to pick three teenage goalkeepers for their UEFA Champions League semi-final return leg against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
18-year-old Arthur Vignaud and 20-year-old Bilal Laurendon will travel to Germany to serve as backups to first-choice Matvei Safonov following Lucas Chevalier’s injury.
The duo’s inclusion means PSG will have four goalkeeper options, including 19-year-old Renato Marin who made his Ligue 1 debut against FC Lorient on Sunday.
PSG head to Munich with a one-goal advantage from the first leg, aiming to reach consecutive Champions League finals to defend their European crown.
Injured Achraf Hakimi is a notable omission from the squad as he continues recovery from a setback he suffered in last week’s semi-final first leg in Paris.
