Paris Saint-Germain have received a timely boost with Bradley Barcola’s return to full fitness ahead of the return leg of the UEFA Champions League game against Liverpool.
Barcola is among the 22-man squad that made the trip to Merseyside on Monday and he is in contention to get some minutes against Liverpool on Tuesday night.
The French winger has been out of action since he picked up an ankle injury in the second leg of the Champions League win against Chelsea.
He joined the team’s training session last Monday but was not fully fit for last Wednesday’s win.
In Barcola’s absence a week ago, Desire Doue stepped up against Liverpool with the opening goal that powered PSG to a 2-0 win at Parc des Princes.
In this season’s Champions League, Barcola has recorded two goals and three assists in 12 appearances so far and his return provides Luis Enrique with additional attacking options on the flanks.
