French Ligue 1 club FC Lorient taunted league leaders Paris Saint-Germain with a mockery post on social media after their hard-fought 5-4 victory against Bayern Munich.
Olivier Pantaloni’s men are ninth on the French top-flight standings and they visit Parc des Princes on Saturday for their matchday 32 fixture.
FC Lorient quoted a tweet by PSG with a cheeky gif of a man taking notes, and they backed it up with a caption that reads “We were watching the match last night. See you on Saturday, PSG”.
The last time Luis Enrique’s men faced FC Lorient in October, the game ended in a 1-1 draw but it would be a different game in Paris with the Ligue 1 title much more on the line for the hosts.
Tuesday’s game at the Parc produced nine goals, with PSG scoring five, sending a warning about the attacking prowess of Enrique’s team.
The Parisians are the highest-scoring team in the UEFA Champions League (43 goals) and in Ligue 1 (68 goals) this season.
