Merveille Kanjinga Signs PSG Contract Extension Until 2030

Merveille Kanjinga has signed a new Paris Saint-Germain contract running until 30 June 2030, giving the club a firm long-term commitment from one of the standout forwards in their women’s squad.

The Congolese international joined PSG in January 2025 after a trophy-laden spell with TP Mazembe, and the club confirmed the extension in an official update on Thursday. Kanjinga’s rise has been rapid: PSG say she has produced 17 goals and 14 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions, while also finishing as the top assist provider in the Arkema Premiere Ligue in 2025-26.

The forward said the club’s belief in her gives her extra motivation to keep improving, according to Paris Saint-Germain’s official announcement.

Why Kanjinga’s extension matters for PSG

This is more than a routine renewal. PSG are locking in a player who has already shown end product, continental pedigree and room to grow inside their attacking structure.

Kanjinga arrived in Paris with CAF Women’s Champions League success behind her and quickly translated that profile into tangible output. For supporters, the key point is simple: PSG have protected a forward who can be part of the next cycle, rather than allowing another important squad decision to drift toward uncertainty.

Her new deal also gives the women’s team a clearer attacking foundation before the next campaign. With the number 19 shirt and a contract through 2030, Kanjinga now has both status and runway to become an even bigger figure in the Rouge et Bleu project.
