The second-placed team played out a 3-3 draw away at Brest on Friday, giving PSG the momentum for Saturday’s match at Stade Raymond-Kopa.
Head coach Luis Enrique made seven changes against Angers with the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes and Lucas Chevalier all starting from the bench.
PSG were still able to take command of the game as South Korean midfielder Kang-In Lee put them ahead after seven minutes.

PSG were reduced to 10 men in the 74th after Portugal forward Goncalo Ramos was handed a second yellow card.

The French capital giants will now turn their attention to the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg tie with Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday.
