Paris Saint-Germain will begin their 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign at home to Stade Rennais on Saturday 22 August, giving Luis Enrique an immediate Parc des Princes opener before two sharper early tests against LOSC and AS Monaco.
The fixture list, confirmed by the LFP and published by PSG, places the champions at home on the opening weekend for the first time since 2023. It is a useful starting point on paper, but the opening run quickly becomes more demanding.
According to PSG’s official fixture announcement, Paris then travel to Stade Pierre-Mauroy to face LOSC on Sunday 30 August at 20:45 before hosting AS Monaco on matchday three.
PSG face an early rhythm test after Rennes opener
For Enrique, the Rennes game is about more than simply beginning at home. PSG will want control, tempo and authority immediately, because Lille away and Monaco at the Parc des Princes should offer a better measure of how quickly the squad has reset after the summer.
The opening sequence also gives supporters three clear reference points: a home curtain-raiser, a first away night against a European-level opponent, and then another high-grade domestic test in Paris.
That makes the first fortnight of the league season a useful early gauge of PSG’s title defence. Rennes gives them the stage, but Lille and Monaco will quickly show whether Enrique’s side have found competitive rhythm from the first whistle.
