Senny Mayulu Set For PSG Contract Extension Until 2031 After Transfer Interest

Senny Mayulu is reportedly set to commit his long-term future to Paris Saint-Germain with a new deal running until 2031. The academy midfielder had been attracting interest from Bayern Munich and Chelsea, but the latest reporting points to PSG moving decisively to keep him in Paris.

The timing matters for Luis Enrique and Luis Campos because Mayulu’s current contract situation had been drifting towards a more uncomfortable summer. PSG have just come through a trophy-winning cycle built on young, high-energy players, and losing an academy graduate of Mayulu’s profile would have carried a different sort of cost.

Mayulu deal protects PSG’s next squad layer

Mayulu is not yet an automatic starter in the biggest matches, but that is not the point of this agreement. He gives PSG depth, homegrown identity and tactical flexibility, while also reducing the pressure to buy every squad solution from outside the club.

For supporters, the bigger story is control. PSG appear to have stopped one of their more promising young players entering the final year of his deal with Europe’s elite circling.

The report from PSG Talk, citing Fabrice Hawkins at RMC Sport, says Mayulu is expected to be tied down until 2031 once the deal is formalised, giving PSG a cleaner platform for the rest of their summer planning.
