Achraf Hakimi will miss the Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain announced on Wednesday.
Having suffered a right thigh injury during Tuesday’s first leg, the Moroccan full-back will remain in treatment for the coming weeks. A huge blow for the club from the French capital, now having to cope without one of their key players at the Allianz Arena in a week’s time.
Although he has started 28 of the 31 matches he has featured in since the start of the season (scoring three goals and providing nine assists), Hakimi has had a particularly gruelling 2025–26 campaign, marked by an ankle injury and participation in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Atlas Lions last winter.
Having been called upon on several occasions to deputise for his teammate on the right flank of the Parisian defence in recent months, Warren Zaïre-Emery is expected, barring any surprises, to replicate the experience next Wednesday.
