Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has expressed his pleasure playing alongside Ousmane Dembele in the Paris Saint-Germain squad.
The Georgian winger has been a sensation since moving to the Parc de Princes from Napoli last January, scoring 24 goals and providing 17 assists in 74 competitive games.
Kvaratskhelia was instrumental to PSG winning a historic treble last season, contributing to 24 goals.
The 25-year-old revealed that playing with current Ballon d’Or holder Dembele has life easy for him In the French capital.
“It’s a real pleasure to play alongside Ousmane Dembele; he makes my job easier,” Kvaratskhelia said.
“He can do it all on the pitch, and that’s why he won the Ballon d’Or. The relationship between the strikers and the rest of the team is pretty incredible. When we turn up to training, everyone is smiling.
“I think that’s one of the reasons behind our form, and it’s why I’m proud to be here in Paris and to have made new friends. We’re like a family now.”
Kvaratskhelia also stated how he has improved defensively under the watch of head coach Luis Enrique.
“Under Luis Enrique, I’ve improved a lot defensively. With him, we need to defend like defenders! He’s pushed me a lot, and I think I’ve made progress in that aspect in particular,” he added.
Kvaratskhelia was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 3-0 win at Angers with 10 men, and will be back in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich.
